We leave for Chalatenango, where we visited the Prehispanic Archaeological site “Cihuatán” also considered one of the greatest archaeological sites in El Salvador, with an estimated population of about three square kilometers extension. Then make an ecological visit to La Palma in the Chalatenango area, north of the characteristic developing country crafts “palmeño” style town showing the development of the craft industry since the 1970s with contributions from recognized Salvadoran artist Fernando Llort. It is also known as the “Capital of Handicrafts” or “Cradle of Peace.” In this area you can take a hike to the falls ecotourism and pond.
